When a good month runs long

The phone does not stop when the allowance does.

Most metered services cut you off, or quietly bill you for a month you never agreed to. We do neither. Your receptionist keeps answering, you are told what it is costing as it happens, and you have 10 days to settle it.

  • We tell you at 80%, while there is still room to act
  • Past the allowance the line keeps working — nobody reaches a dead number
  • Usage past the allowance is $0.20 a minute and $0.03 a text
  • See it coming? $15 for 100 extra minutes bought ahead is cheaper
  • 10 days to pay it off, and you can move up a plan at any point instead

7 days free, cancel any time/no setup fee/no contract/stop at the end of any month

On every plan, whichever you pick

  • The AI receptionist, answering calls 24/7
  • Texts answered by the same assistant, from the same facts
  • One phone number, kept or newly issued
  • Your business portal, with a login for each person who needs one
  • Booking, rescheduling and cancelling, by phone or portal
  • An email to you the moment a lead lands, and the job waiting in your portal
  • Your calendar connected, and every call recorded and transcribed
  • Thirty days of call recordings and transcripts kept, on every plan
  • Spam and robocalls screened out before they reach you
  • Your allowance, live in the portal, so a limit is never a surprise

One phone number is included on every plan. A second line, or a number for a second location, is $2 a month each — you buy it in your portal and you can cancel it there, which stops the charge.

And what you will never be billed for

  • No setup fee
  • No charge in the first 7 days — close the account and nothing is ever taken
  • No contract — stop at the end of any month
  • No per-seat pricing — the logins come with the plan
  • No cut-off mid-month — going over is charged, never switched off

When you reach the limit

The line never goes dead.

The allowances above are real limits, not fair-use wording. What they are not is a way to bill you more.

80%

We tell you early

An email and a flag in your portal while there is still room to act — not a notice after the fact.

100%

It keeps answering — on a paid plan

The line is not cut off and nobody reaches a dead number. Usage past the allowance is charged at $0.20 a minute and $0.03 a text — the same rate the portal sells minutes at, so waiting costs you nothing extra. Buying a fixed pack ahead of time is the only cheaper route: $15 for 100 extra minutes.

Free

On the free plan, it stops

This is the one place the free plan works differently, and it is worth knowing before you rely on it. Once the 15 receptionist minutes are gone, the receptionist stops answering for the rest of the month — your number still rings and callers are put straight through to you instead, so nobody reaches a dead line, but the AI does not pick up again until the month resets. Video meetings stop at 20 minutes. Nothing is charged as an overrun, because there is nothing to charge it to: upgrading is what starts it answering again.

10 days

You settle what you went over by

The balance is shown in your portal as it builds, and you pay it off there. Leave it unpaid past those days and the account can be suspended until it is settled — so it is worth watching, and worth moving up a plan if it keeps happening.

Asked before

The questions that decide it.

Every figure below is the real one. Nothing here changes after you sign up.

When am I charged, and what if it isn't for me?

Not for 7 days. Signing up is three steps — choose a plan, fill in your details, add a card — and the portal opens immediately, but nothing is charged. On day 8, unless you have cancelled, that card is charged your plan's monthly price, and the same figure on the same day each month after. We email you before the first charge. Close the account inside the 7 days and no money is ever taken — closing it is self-serve in the portal and takes no longer than signing up did. Note that calls answered during the free days still come out of your allowance. Whatever the receptionist booked stays yours either way, and exports from the portal.

What happens if I run out of minutes?

Your receptionist keeps answering — that is the point of it. We flag it in your portal and by email at 80%, and past the allowance the extra usage is charged at $0.20 a minute and $0.03 a text. You then have 10 days to pay that balance off in the portal. It is shown to you as it builds, so it is never a surprise, and if it goes unpaid past those days the account can be suspended until it is settled. If you would rather buy more time before you get there, the portal sells it at the same rate — $0.20 a minute and $0.03 a text, up to $20 at a time — so waiting costs you nothing extra, and past that it points you at a bigger plan because that is the better deal. The one cheaper route is a fixed pack bought ahead: $15 for 100 extra minutes.

How do I know which plan I am?

Count the calls you take in a normal week and multiply by four. Business covers roughly 100 calls a month, Business Pro roughly 330 and Business Max+ roughly 660, at about three minutes a call. If you land between two, start lower — moving up in the portal takes one click, and your usage is on the dashboard from day one.

Can I reply to Google reviews?

On Business Pro and Business Max+. Your Google Business profile connects to the portal, new reviews land there, and a reply is drafted for you to approve or rewrite — nothing is ever posted in your name without you reading it first. Business does not include the review centre.

How many phone numbers do I get?

One, on every plan. You pick it yourself from a shortlist in your own area code during setup, or you keep the number you already advertise and forward it — forwarding costs nothing and your customers never learn a new number. Extra lines are $2 a month each: you buy them in the portal, they ring the same receptionist, and cancelling one there stops the charge.

How long does setup take?

Five to ten minutes, and you do it yourself in the portal the moment you have paid — you tell it your services and the questions your customers ask, set your prices and hours, choose your number, and forward your line to it. Most businesses are answering the same day. If you would rather not, say so in the first step and our team will call you within one to three days and do it with you instead.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Onboarding — training the receptionist on your prices, hours and rules, and connecting your calendar and the mailbox your business replies go out from — is included on every plan.

Can I cancel?

At the end of any month, without giving a reason. There is no contract and no notice period. Your bookings export from the portal on the way out.

Do unused minutes roll over?

No — allowances reset at the start of each billing month. It is the one place we'd rather be plain than clever: rollover sounds generous and mostly exists to make a plan look bigger than it is.
